CONGRATULATIONS!
Our Battle of the Books Competition finished this weekend with a trip to the District Competition! The 5th Grade team "The Pink Bobs" represented our school this year. They did an amazing job placing 5th out of 38 teams! We are so proud of them! We also want to congratulate the "Flaming Owls" who placed 1st in our school competition out of the 3rd and 4th Grade teams. A special thank you to all the parents and volunteers who supported our program this year. We couldn't have made it a success without all of your help!

Battle of the Books Information
Parents this is just a reminder that Battle of the Books has
begun. Book lists can be picked up in
the library or you can visit the library website at
drycreeklibrary.blogspot.com. For each
book that your child reads, they will be earning a pin. Students in grades 3-6 need to pass the book
off with their teacher in order to earn their book button. For students in grades K-2 you as a parent
can initial their bookmark or send a note with them to give to their teacher to
earn their book button. Buttons will be
given out every Thursday. Happy Reading!
