Thanks to all the students who participated in our summer library program.  It was a great success!  If you didn't get a chance to turn your books in on Tuesday the 28th, please drop them off to the front office on Monday.

Floor Cleaning Has Been Postponed

The cleaning of the floors has been postponed until next week.  As a result of this, our library will be OPEN this Tuesday, July 7th from 10:00-12:00pm.  We will however now be CLOSED next week on Tuesday, July 14th.  Please plan on bringing in your books on the 7th to exchange them.  Thanks!

Summer Library!

Congratulations to our Book Drawing Winners!

We want to congratulate all the students who won a free book in our Book Return Drawing.  Just a reminder for those students who still have library books checked out, they MUST be returned to the library by Tuesday, May 26, 2015.  Books that have not been returned by that date will be considered lost and students will be responsible for the replacement cost of the book.  Please help your students remember to get their books returned!  All students who get their book in before the 26th can earn a piece of candy!

BOGO Book Fair

As a thank you for all the support from parents this year, as well as all the hard work from our Dry Creek students, we are holding our final book fair of the year.  It is a BOGO fair so everything is Buy-One Get-One Free!  I hope you will come stock up on books for the summer and keep up the great tradition of reading that we started this year!

Genre of the Month

This month our genre focus is Biography.  We will be learning about different people from history including Levi Strauss, Vasily Kandinsky, and Peter Mark Roget creator of Roget's Thesaurus.  Please encourage your student to check out a biography this month!
